This blog has moved to Facebook - follow me there!!
I started my own FB Art Group - Beautiful Bizzzzarre Art some time ago and have been there ever since. Well I am now also on Tumblr its addictive!!
But guess what I am now publishing my own ART Magazine!! It will launch on the 30th of June! Its so exciting!!
The Beautiful Bizarre Art magazine will showcase the work of prominent and upcoming contemporary artists, providing them with a beautiful medium to promote their talent to both galleries and the wider community. This magazine is a natural extension of my passion for art and desire to help artists realize and extend their potential. The magazine will feature a 10 artists each edition (quarterly) providing them with an opportunity to speak directly to the audience about their work, inspiration and process. The format will be a beautiful large format exhibition catalogue / photobook style, rather than a very wording traditional magazine style. Each artist feature will include large format images of their work over approximately 10 pages beginning with a double A4 spread. The final pages of the magazine will highlight upcoming exhibitions from various galleries around the world, as well as a "Mood Board" which will spotlight one artists life, loves, passion, inspiration and lead into their full feature in the following edition. The magazine will be available for free download in e–format, as well as high quality glossly printed magazin at a cost, which would then be shipped to customers globally. The Beautiful Bizarre Art Magazine will engage the artists and promote their work, engage the galleries and promote their upcoming events, plus provide a beautiful magazine for art lovers to collect.
The 1st edition artists are:
Natalie Shau
Saturno Butto
Popovy Sisters
Mira Nedyalkova
Marco Mazzoni
Tomohide Ikeya
Erik Jones
Lori Earley
Young Chun
Tokwa Penaflorida

"I'm a self-taught portrait artist by trade, with my primary fuel for creativity being juxtaposition. The marriage of beauty and tragedy is uniquely appealing to me in prose, paint and life in general. I aspire to join these two components in all my work, primarily using the female form and portraiture as my medium." ~ http://www.olganoes.com/#!home/mainPage

Park overlaps several layers of steel mesh and rotates them slightly so they are slightly out of line with one another -- leaving a space about two finger widths between. He then sketches the contours of the images of his models on steel meshes and cuts them out, creating a three-dimensionality in these contours. Depending on the viewer's standpoint, the images may look transparent, illusory, or shadowy. ~ http://www.blankspaceart.com/psm_pr.htm
