Max Sauco

Russian digital artist Max Sauco's work is fascinating in a dark and disturbing way.  His photomanipulation technique using his own photographs is flawless and his themes often explore feminine sexual power, along with mythology and fairytales.  His work is also humorous and witty which moves his work from the purely erotic nude to the surreal dreamscapes.

Hina Aoyama

Hina Aoyama is a wonderfully talented paper artist from Japan that now lives in France.  Her work is incredibly beautiful and intricate, delicate, fragile lacy wisps of paper created with only a pair of scissors.

Gustav Klimt [1862 – 1918]

Austrian artist Gustav Klimt [1862 - 1918] is one of my favourites.  His work has always called to my soul with its wonderful symbolism beautifully entangled with his evocative female nudes. His use of bold colours in mosaic style patterns and gold leaf creates a radiance and fire that enhances the provocative nature of his subject. The sensual eroticism of his work is appealing in its subtlety, as the viewer witnesses private moments of passion and cant help being drawn into Klimt's vision.

Caia Koopman

I really love low-brow US traditional artist Caia Koopman's new body of work, it screams attitude.  The feel is darker and sinister, with a slight delicious toxic flavour.  I love her use of strong vibrant aqua hues and wonderful contrasting greens and fushias.  She successfully portrays powerful female subjects that easily hold their own in modern culture.

Lori Earley

US traditional artist Lori Earley's gracefully elegant elongated portraits are both beautiful and etheral.  Many of her female subjects appear melancholy, the deeply expressive eyes gaze out at the viewer but dont seem to see, rather they seem to be inwardly focused on some painful memory.  Beautiful moving work with a delightful surreal twist.
