Michael Hussar

US traditional painter Michael Hussar's surreal work features evocative ghoulish characters. His pale figures seem to glow against the dark foreboding backgrounds appearing almost ghostlike, they are slashed with red creating dark and morbid undertones.  Michael's work is provocative and strangely fascinating, as he explores concepts around death and redemption.

Hussar describes his work as “a voyeuristic snapshot of perceived humanity, complete with freaks and fakery; a gothic wonderland illuminating the gray area between truths and lies.”
