Zhijie's female figures are both child like and sexualised adults. The figures are so soft they seem to blur and fade around the edges, ensuring the main focus of his work the huge moist eyes, that look challengingly out at the viewer pop! The eyes however are spaced wide on the face giving the otherwise doll-like figure a bizarre almost alien feel.
